Obama Crushing McCain In Frequent Flyer Miles!
Colorado is gearing up for the Demoratic National Convention in August when people from all over the country will descend on the city of Denver to elect a Presedential and Vice Presidential candidate for their party. It is assumed that Senator Barack Obama will get the nomination and will officially be running against Sentator John McCain for the presidency.
There are a myriad of polls reporting how each party is leading in different aspects of the race, but a particularly interesting report came out yesterday, courtesy of David Borowitz (author of humor the column, “The Borowitz Report”). Apparently Obama is kicking ass in frequent flyer miles accumulation! He is so ahead of his opponent that McCain would basically have to fly to Antartica and back to catch up, according to Obama strategist David Axelrod.
Borowitz reported that McCain’s crew is publicly denoucing the importance of Obama’s sizeable frequent flyer miles lead, while privately admitting that bad decisions in scheduling could have contributed to his recent loss.
For instance, McCain has been frequenting exotic locales such as Wilkes-Barre and Altoona, Pennsylvania. Obama, on the other hand, flew to Afghanistan, Jordan and Germany last month.
Last but not least, Borowitz claims that Obama is in great shape to go on his next trip to Iraq for FREE using his miles. That is, unless, McCain beats him to it on his wive’s private jet.
Thanks, Berkowitz, for the entertaining report…..
